Cornish Best launched in bottle for the first time
S t Austell Brewery is launching Cornish Best (3.4% abv) in supermarkets for the first time
In the South West, 500ml bottles are now available in Tesco stores and will be stocked in Waitrose from April. The beer will also be available Asda stores nationwide this summer.
Cornish Best is a well-balanced, easy-drinking ale. Boasting rich malt and biscuit notes with subtle fruit and toffee flavours, and a hint of bitterness, it has been available on cask in pubs across the South West since 2015.
As well as the beer being bottled for the first time, the branding has a fresh new look too, inspired by the vibrant colours of the Cornish coastline.
Georgina Young, Brewing Director, St Austell Brewery said:
“We’re very excited to be launching Cornish Best in supermarkets for the first time, so people can enjoy it at home.
“It’s a well-balanced and sessionable beer that has been a long-time favourite for cask fans in the South West. We’re pleased to be bottling it to make it more widely available and introducing it to new drinkers too.”
Cornish Best is now available in Tesco stores across the South West and will be in regional Waitrose stores from 16th April. The beer will be available to buy in Asda stores across the UK from 17th May.
