The Celtic Beer Festival is back this November
O ur Celtic Beer Festival - Cornwall’s biggest event for beer lovers - is coming back on Saturday 25th November (11am-11pm).
It’s the first time the festival has been held since 2019 and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
All profits from ticket sales will be donated to St Austell Brewery’s Charitable Trust, which supports charities, communities, and individuals in need across the South West. The Trust has raised over £1 million for good causes since it was established in 2003.
Held in the ancient cellars of the Victorian brewery, there will be over 100 ales, stouts, lagers, and craft beers to try, including a series of limited-edition St Austell Brewery beers which will be brewed especially for the festival. There will also be beers from brewers across Cornwall and the wider South West, with food and top musical entertainment from local artists, throughout the day.
Georgina Young, Brewing Director, St Austell Brewery, said:
“We’re delighted to be announcing the return of our Celtic Beer Festival, for the first time since the pandemic. It’s always been a popular event, so we hope people will be as excited as we are that it’s returning this year.
“We’ve been working through plans for a fresh and exciting approach for 2023 and can’t wait to welcome everybody back again, to celebrate good beer, good music, and good times together.
“This is an event which our brewers really look forward to, so if you’re planning to come along, watch this space for lots of delicious and exclusive Celtic Beer Festival beers.”
Piers Thompson, External Relations Director, St Austell Brewery, added:
“One of the great things about the Celtic Beer Festival is that it raises money for our Charitable Trust, which helps so many important causes in our South West heartland.
“We recently hit the milestone of raising over £1 million raised, which is just fantastic. Festival ticket sales alone have raised over £200K for the Trust since the event was first launched in 1999, so we can’t wait to raise even more this November.”
